“It looked stressful. Sometimes I had to pull all-nighters to get work done. But finding a balance between hard work and fun made it worthwhile,” Ruth shared, reflecting on her intense academic journey. Her dedication to her studies caught the attention of her mother, Joyce Leshey, who always believed in her.
“She’s a goal-getter. She wanted to come to the United States, and she made sure to keep her grades up. She’s that serious girl who always wants to meet her goals,” Leshey stated proudly, highlighting Ruth’s determination to succeed.
Ruth also expressed her feelings about this milestone. “It feels amazing to do something unique at my age. I’m also grateful to be included in something significant in the world,” she remarked, underscoring the pride she feels in her accomplishments.
