According to the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ), the perpetrator, who resided nearby, was alone when he called the girl inside. After removing her clothing, he raped the young child. In a separate incident around the same time, he committed aggravated indecent assault by inserting his finger into her privates.
