Upon waking to switch the power supply, the director found two actors deceased and the other two in distress.
Karisia also reported that the two surviving male actors were receiving treatment at the hospital. He shared a survivor’s account stating, “Their host offered them rice, and everyone ate. He later brought out a bottle of Calypso and wine. They only took a sip and did not drink further. However, the two other guys who are now dead finished the drink.”
In response to inquiries, Command spokesperson DSP Henry Okoye verified the incident’s particulars and stated that an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the deaths. He characterized the event as “unfortunate and tragic,” confirming the fatalities while noting that the surviving actors are being treated.
Furthermore, Okoye mentioned that the Commissioner of Police, Aboki Danjuma, has instructed a pathologist to conduct examinations on the deceased actors to establish the cause of death. The findings will guide the subsequent actions in this matter.
