On March 25, 2025, fuel prices will rise, with gasoline increasing by P1.10 per liter and diesel and kerosene by P0.40. Following three weeks of price rollbacks, increases are attributed to geopolitical tensions and consumption patterns. Cleanfuel will adjust pricing later in the day, and other firms have yet to respond.

Motorists will experience an increase in fuel prices this week as companies announced price hikes after three consecutive weeks of decreases. Chevron Philippines Inc. (Caltex), Seaoil Philippines Corp., and Shell Pilipinas Corp. will raise gasoline prices by P1.10 per liter, while diesel and kerosene prices will go up by P0.40 each.

Cleanfuel will implement the same price adjustments but will not increase kerosene prices, as it does not carry this product. The new prices will take effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25, with Cleanfuel implementing its changes at 4:01 p.m. on the same day.

As of the latest updates, other companies have not yet announced similar price changes for the week. The Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau (DOE-OIMB) previously forecasted these increases, attributing them to heightened tensions in the Middle East, increased fuel consumption following Beijing’s fiscal stimulus measures, and a reduction in U.S. fuel inventories.

In conclusion, fuel prices for gasoline, diesel, and kerosene will rise this week, marking a reversal from recent rollbacks. Leading companies, including Chevron and Shell, have confirmed price hikes effective March 25. The adjustments are driven by external factors, including geopolitical tensions and shifts in consumption patterns.
