Airtel Uganda has partnered with Spiro Uganda and GnuGrid CRB to introduce an electric motorcycle financing initiative in Uganda. This new loan market allows individuals connected to Airtel mobile money to initiate the process of acquiring a new electric motorbike directly through their mobile phone. Gaurav Anand, the Managing Director of Spiro Uganda, highlighted that this automation streamlines the purchasing process, encompassing everything from the down payment to the completion of the transaction, thereby facilitating easier ownership.
