Nepal Experiences Twin Earthquakes; No Casualties Reported

Nepal experienced two mild earthquakes on Saturday morning, with magnitudes of 4.0 and 4.1, respectively. No casualties or damage were reported from either tremor. The first occurred in Myagdi district, while the second was in Baglung district.
On the morning of Saturday, Nepal experienced twin earthquakes measuring mild in intensity, as reported by the country’s earthquake monitoring center. Fortunately, there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage from the tremors in the affected areas.
The first earthquake, with a magnitude of 4.1 on the Richter scale, struck the Baglung district at 6:20 a.m. The epicenter was located in the Khukhani area of this district, which is situated approximately 300 kilometers from Kathmandu.
Previously, at 3:14 a.m., another tremor measuring 4 on the Richter scale was detected in Myagdi district, about 40 kilometers away from Baglung. This quake’s epicenter was identified in the Muri area of Myagdi district.
In summary, Nepal experienced two mild earthquakes over the weekend, with measured magnitudes of 4.0 and 4.1 in different districts. Thankfully, there were no casualties or significant damage reported following these tremors. Authorities continue to monitor the seismic activity in the region.
