Hà Nội is gearing up to host the ‘Flavors of Peru – II Edition Asia’ gastronomic festival, a culinary journey that will run from July 11 to July 13. This festival is a collaboration between the Embassy of Peru in Vietnam and the Intercontinental Hanoi Westlake Hotel. Building on the success of the inaugural event held in Bangkok, this festival promises to dive deep into the vibrant and diverse world of Peruvian cuisine, featuring the expertise of four acclaimed Peruvian chefs from various celebrated restaurants across Asia.

A Taste of Peru by Esteemed Chefs

Attendees will be treated to a delightful array of classic Peruvian dishes like ceviche, pollo a la brasa, and lomo saltado, complemented by desserts and drinks like pisco sours. Among the chefs is Abel Ortiz, who has been pivotal in promoting Peruvian cuisine in Hong Kong with his restaurant, Chullschick. Joining him are Franco Aldana, who brings his training from renowned culinary schools to Feliz in Malaysia, Rubén Rodrigo Serrano, a master of Japanese-Peruvian fusion at DIP Nikkei in the Philippines, and Pier López, known for his creative takes on Nikkei cuisine at Yunka Nikkei in Vietnam.

Kick-off on July 11 with a special shared set-menu dining experience dubbed “A Night of Prestige and Palate” at the Intercontinental Hanoi Westlake Hotel.
