VinFast Collaborates with DHL for European Spare Parts Distribution

VinFast has partnered with DHL to optimize its spare parts distribution network in Europe. The collaboration involves DHL managing storage, import procedures, and rapid delivery of parts. The agreement aims to enhance consumer experience and support VinFast’s growth in the European market.

VinFast, the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, has announced a strategic partnership with DHL, the renowned logistics company based in Germany. This collaboration aims to enhance VinFast’s spare parts distribution network throughout Europe by implementing comprehensive logistics management solutions. As per the agreement publicized on Monday, DHL will handle the storage of spare parts for all VinFast models at its Holtum facility in the Netherlands and oversee the entire logistics process, which includes import procedures, packaging, distribution, and delivery.

In instances of urgent need, DHL is prepared to deliver spare parts within a remarkable timeframe of 24 hours. Le Thi Thu Trang, CEO of VinFast Europe, expressed both honor and enthusiasm in welcoming DHL as a vital partner in Europe. She highlighted that this alliance aims to tackle common challenges within the automotive industry while enhancing overall consumer experience through improved supply chain optimization.

Etienne Kennis, DHL’s business development manager for the Benelux region, noted the company’s pride in collaborating with VinFast, stating they are keen to support VinFast’s expansion efforts in Europe by offering reliable warehousing and transportation solutions. This partnership is pivotal not only for the logistical efficiency it introduces but also for positioning VinFast favorably in the evolving automotive market across Europe.

Alongside its primary distribution center in Holtum, DHL is also tasked with the storage of batteries and components for VinFast’s VF 6 and VF 8 vehicle models at a facility in the Czech Republic. This initiative ensures readiness to cater to VinFast dealers operating in France, Germany, and the Netherlands, thereby reinforcing VinFast’s operational capabilities in Europe.
