Ott Tänak Leads Rally Kenya After Thursday’s Stages

The opening special stage was won by Elfyn Evans, the reigning World Championship leader, with a time of 3 minutes and 09.09 seconds. In the subsequent stage, Tänak achieved the fastest time, propelling him into the overall lead. Although Katsuta was stronger initially, he finished second, 1.1 seconds behind Tänak, with Gregoire Munster in third place, 2.3 seconds adrift. The standings after Thursday indicate Tänak in first, Katsuta in second, and Munster in third, with Kalle Rovanperä, last year’s winner, close behind at +3.0 seconds.
