BYD Seagull Officially Launched in Morocco with Two Range Variants

The BYD Seagull has recently been launched in Morocco, marking a significant addition to the electric vehicle market. Offered in two versions, it features BYD blade batteries providing driving ranges of 230 kilometers and 300 kilometers. The vehicle can be charged from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes when using DC fast charging.

Since its entry into the Moroccan market in July 2023, BYD has introduced a total of six passenger vehicles, which include the Han, Tang, Yuan PLUS, Song PLUS, Seal, and now, the Seagull. Each vehicle reflects BYD’s commitment to expanding its presence in this growing market.

During the press conference, Adil Bennami, General Manager of BYD’s Moroccan partner Auto Nejma, highlighted the Seagull’s design. He stated that it is “specifically designed for urban scenarios,” merging advanced technology with practical design. The Seagull stands out in the Moroccan new energy market, featuring a robust car body structure, six safety airbags, and a 10.1-inch adaptive rotating screen. Additionally, its smart connectivity system is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, allowing for intelligent voice control, thus enhancing the driving experience.
