On Tuesday morning, Moscow experienced an unprecedented assault as a minimum of 60 Ukrainian drones were reported shot down, according to Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. Notably, 11 of these drones were intercepted in the Ramensky and Domodedovo districts, although Sobyanin did not specify the locations of the remaining drones, which were noted to have been heading towards Moscow.
In response to the attack, flight operations at Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports have been temporarily restricted, ensuring the safety of travelers. Fortunately, there have been no reported casualties; however, minor damage was inflicted on the roof of a building in Moscow, as noted by Sobyanin in an online update.
