The police confirmed that Mr. Abubakar was shot and killed by unidentified individuals around 10:00 p.m. on Saturday outside his residence in Oke Ose, Ilorin East LGA. The police collected five spent 7.62mm cartridges from the crime scene and have since transported his remains to the mortuary at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital.
In response to this tragic event, Mr. Ngelzarma expressed profound sorrow over the loss of the youngest state chairman, emphasizing Abubakar’s dedication to fostering peace and progress among pastoralists in Nigeria.
