The National Crime Agency (NCA) reported that Khan was found guilty of trafficking 72 firearm parts, including 36 top slides and 36 barrels for 9mm Glock pistols, concealed within a 1976 Datsun Sunny.

The NCA’s investigation revealed that Khan, who posed as a car dealer, had been involved in the smuggling operation since July of the previous year when he was apprehended. His guilty plea occurred after significant evidence was uncovered, including voice notes from his phone detailing communications with a Pakistani supplier connected to firearms manufacturing.

Additionally, the NCA suggested that Khan’s illicit activities dated back to November 2023, indicating a history of dealing with firearms. The agency found that he had purchased multiple deactivated firearms, believed to have the potential for conversion into functional weapons.
