According to court documents, Mr. Scott was reportedly taken to a residence belonging to Mr. Mutua in the Pipeline estate, where it is alleged that he was murdered, and subsequently, his remains were disposed of in the Makongo forest.

During a police raid at Mr. Mutua’s residence, officers discovered it completely vacated. A prosecutor indicated that the suspect may have transported Mr. Scott’s body to an unknown location while relocating his personal belongings. Mr. Mutua is suspected of making multiple withdrawals from Mr. Scott’s financial accounts while evading capture.

Authorities continue to search for Mr. Scott’s mobile phone and bank cards and are pursuing additional suspects to clarify the circumstances surrounding Mr. Scott’s demise. Mr. Mutua and Mr. Nzioki have been detained for 21 days as they cooperate with investigators regarding charges of murder, kidnapping, and theft. His body was located 60 miles from Nairobi, bound at the hands and legs with rope.
